Regulation easements defined the requirements for registration of any new project within the limits of this zone by assigning it a role of morphological and architectural control. This buffer zone was hit by a right of protection through regulation, applicable to urban planning and architecture. The delineation of the protection zone proposed as a buffer zone was presented as a minor amendment to the World Heritage Committee at its 33th session held in Seville in 2009. This event has given the commitments of our government in resolve of all the problems that hinder the protection of archaeological sites, by considering as urgent and important decision to provide the World Heritage site with a specific management tool, such as the protective and enhancement plan of archaeological sites (PPMVSA). In July 2006, the World Heritage Committee decided to remove the site of Tipasa from the list in Danger inscribed since 2001. ![]() The executive decree N: 03- 324 of October 2003, relative of the law 98/04 of 1998 determines the methods of establishment of the protective and enhancement plans of the archaeological sites (PPMVSA). ![]() The archaeological sites of Tipasa with the royal mausoleum of Sidi Rached (three sites in series) were inscribed on the World Heritage list, on December 17th, 1982. ![]()
